TalentEgg Relaunch: Monday, August 18!

Hello!

We are pleased to announce that TalentEgg 2.0 will be launching on August 18. While the values and vision of our project remain the same, this site is about to get 50x easier to navigate, and 100x more useful for you.

Lookout for our exciting launch partners, great new career opportunities, and lots of useful resources!

In the mean time, sign up for all the updates and to get a head start on creating your TalentCard for employers!

Eggcelent new employers, resources, and more

As always, there’s lots going on at TalentEgg. Since my last update, we’ve grown to be a 6-person company. We live in office space we like to call The Egg Carton (pictures coming soon).

Our team is busy building relationships with top Canadian employers, big and small and some great new employers have recently been added to the site:

We’ve also got a great new article on the site, written by our very own journalist-in-residence, Cassandra Jowett. Check it out here!

And, of course, if you have any questions, comments…really anything at all, please feel free to get in touch.

Summer-time at TalentEgg

Because of our recent Toronto Sun article, we’ve been getting a lot of attention recently.

We want to take the opportunity to update you on the progress at TalentEgg and let you know what you can expect in the coming months.

This summer TalentEgg is focusing on building relationships with Canada’s best employers, in order to in turn provide the best opportunities for you (students & new-grads!).

We’ve had great success so far and are looking forward to more in the coming weeks.

We’re also redesigning the site (very exciting!). The main goal in doing this is to allow you to drill down and see the site through the ‘lense’ that makes the most sense for you. For example, if you’re an accounting student looking for a career in accounting, you’ll soon be able to view the entire TalentEgg site through an accounting filter. If you’re a history major that’s really interested in banking, you can view the site through a banking filter…Etc.

In the mean time, we’re really excited about all the people visiting and signing up and can’t wait to show you even more value in the coming months. If you haven’t already registered, this is a great time to do it to make sure you’re included when we take off with all our new features in August.

Make sure to stay tuned. Exciting times ahead.

Student looking for meaningful on-campus opportunities in September?

If yes, we’d like to speak with you. TalentEgg is currently recruiting for bright, energetic, charasmatic students that are returning to university in the fall.

The role will be part time and will involve a mix of sales, account management, PR, and even a bit of consulting. Hence, the title of the role: Campus Consultant.

If you’re interested, drop me a line at lauren@talentegg.ca.

You’re free to attach a resume, however it would be even better if you filled out a TalentCard.

Be sure to let me know what you’ve been up to this summer and what your general career ambitions are. Also, please include a few examples of prior experiences (volunteer, work, academic or even social!) that show that you’re the type of person who likes to engage with other people.

Thanks!
