Progress at TalentEgg: Now you can Learn!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our newest section of TalentEgg: the Learn section!!

The basic premise is this:

Articles outlining top 10 resume tips, or top 5 ways to ace an interview are great, and are also readily available. What’s not so available is first-hand, in-the-trenches explanations of what transitioning from school to work is REALLY like.

Hence, ‘Learn’: a collection of articles written by recent grads already in the workforce.

We’re building this section from the ground up, and would (WARMLY) welcome any and all contributors with a story to share. It’s a chance to be published and also an opportunity to help a student who might just be a few years behind making the same or similar decisions as you did.

For all of you university and college students reading this, be sure to sign-in and contribute to the discussion below the articles!

Happy Learn-ing!!

Keepin y'all Up-to-Date

Things are looking sunny-side up for TalentEgg. There is so much going on it is difficult to know where to start. Our dedicated on-campus staff is busy signing up new students as they settle in at their respective schools, the sales team is busy getting more employers and I’m making sure everyone is happy. There is never a dull moment here. It is very exciting to watch, and to be a part of the growing process associated with starting a new business.

With all the turmoil in the markets it can be scary to be an entrepreneur although TalentEgg is situated nicely to be able to weather the storm. Because we deal with placing relatively cheap labor the demand for our students can only go up as budgets come down. It will be interesting to see how the market will affect us.

I will be sure to inform you all of any relevant news or changes that happen here at TalentEgg

It's My First Day and They Forced Me to Write a Post

Hello all you TalentEggers!

On Friday of last week I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the hardworking team here at TalentEgg and I couldn’t be more excited. As is the case with many of the students visiting the site I had recently graduated from a great school and was unsure how to approach to job market. I ended up working for my family and while that was great, I was looking for something new that could be the foundation of a new career. Interestingly enough I found that opportunity with TalentEgg by using the TalentEgg website. The atmosphere here is amazing; everyone is friendly, smart and genuine and I can’t wait to work with them all. I will be stepping in to the role of account manager and am responsible for ensuring that all of TalentEgg’s clients have a resource to get all questions answered and all concerns addressed.

I will be sure to update everyone on all things TalentEgg as time goes on

Have a Great Day!

Welcoming new Talent to TalentEgg

In the past few weeks, we’ve had to say goodbye to two of our awesome ‘Egg-ers’, Jen and Cassandra. They were both invaluable to all that we accomplished over the summer, and it was very sad to see them go.

That being said, they’re off to accomplish great things. Jen is studying Medicine in the UK, and Cassandra is in her 4th year studying Journalism at Ryerson. Even though they’re not OFFICIALLY TalentEgg staff anymore, we hope that they continue to help us in other ways … 🙂

Following their departures, we’ve added two NEW people to the TalentEgg team, one of whom started today. Corey will be our new Sales and Marketing guy, getting employers excited about the services we have available and generally spreading the word. He’s gotten off to a flying start already. We’re excited 🙂

More news coming soon.
