Last Wednesday, TalentEgg hosted a Twitter chat about careers in retail as part of our Retail Career Week in partnership with Bell, which brought employers and interested students and recent grads together through the power of a single hashtag, #TERetail.

Hundreds of tweets were generated, reaching over 26,000 people and garnering over 350,000 impressions. (source: TweetReach) Egg-ceptional!

Employers such as TJX Canada, RBC, Starbucks, and Target participated in the chat, by taking an active part in this meaningful conversation with students, professionals and organizations  exploring the realities of retail careers. Many misconceptions about careers in this industry were identified, the significant growth potential offered by the industry was highlighted, and valuable insights were shared.
