Apply for an award

While it’s not required to attend the conference, we highly encourage anybody planning to come to apply for a TalentEgg Award! Even just being nominated will boost your organization’s status among your peers, and help you foster a more millennial-focused brand.

There are a wide range of categories to apply for, from “Best Recruitment Marketing and Outreach” to “Best Social Media Presence.” And the awards are not just for employers who recruit students and grads – career centres and educational institutions have their own eggs-clusive categories.

Be a “social” butterfly

Before and during the event, TalentEgg Awards attendees can participate in the larger conversation around the conference by tagging their posts with the #TEAwards hashtag. This will help you see what other people are talking about, and connect with people you haven’t yet had the chance to meet in-person.

In addition, we’re always on the lookout for the best egg jokes from our followers. The TalentEgg Awards is not your typical professional conference – stand out online by being creative with your tweets and embracing your punny side.

Bring a friend (or three!)

The more the merrier at the TalentEgg Awards! If you can, try to bring as many members of your team as possible. There are many benefits:

  1. It’s an egg-cellent chance to have some fun with your coworkers – who doesn’t love a good team outing?

  3. It increases your presence at the awards, giving your team even more opportunities to network and connect with other professionals.
  4. The savings! We will be offering tickets at a discounted rate for group purchases.

In short, the TalentEgg Awards is a definitely an event where you’ll want to bring some backup. Coming with a group is a great way to maximize your time and bond with your colleagues.

Come prepared with questions

After every presentation at the TalentEgg Awards, there will be a short Q&A period where attendees can converse with the speakers and learn as much as possible from their experiences. This is your opportunity to learn from the eggs-perts, so don’t be shy!

Every guest will get a notebook at the beginning of the conference to use for notes and jotting down potential questions. You can also prepare some in advance – we’ll be announcing the speakers before the Awards & Conference date so you will have an idea of what to expect.
